CCA AGM 2021

Coinneamh Bhliadhnail
Annual General Meeting
Tuesday 22nd June 2021 7.00pm
By Zoom

Due to ongoing and uncertain Covid restictions, the Association AGM will be held at 7pm, on Tuesday 22nd June by Zoom.

If you would like to participate in the Zoom AGM, please email or let us know at the Shop. We will send a link to CCA members nearer the time.

We appreciate Zoom may not be an option for some members of the Association. However, we still want as many people as possible to take part – in one way or another.

So we would encourage family groups and households to come together to Zoom (within the most current Scottish Government advice of course) – so Zoom enthusiasts can help others take part!

To make the CCA AGM as inclusive and as transparent as possible under the current restrictions, CCA commit to:

  • Making available to CCA members all the relevant AGM documents prior to the AGM. These will be emailed to members who have notified us of their email address. For those members who don’t have access to email, we will deliver hard copies;
  • Making available all the relevant AGM documents prior to the AGM no non-members of CCA on request;
  • Encouraging CCA members and others to submit questions or comments for the AGM, by email to, by hard copy (via Shop) or by phone call to 01851 643720; and
  • Facilitating members without access to Zoom to take part in the AGM, where we can under Government guidelines current at the time.

How to nominate for a position on the CCA Board
If you wish to nominate for a position on the CCA Board of Directors, nomination forms are available to download by clicking here or can be requested by email from or from at the shop during opening hours. They must be returned by Tuesday 15th June, by email, leaving at the shop or by post to Carloway Community Centre, Knock, Carloway, HS2 9AU.

Under our Articles of Association the maximum number of directors is 12 – there are currently 11 Board members so please consider joining us.

At each AGM, a third of the directors are required to retire from office – but are eligible for re-election.  Standing down in 2021:
Jim Bruce – seeking re-election
Stuart James – seeking re-election
Donald Macaulay – seeking re-election

Other Directors of CCA are:
Fraser Ingram, Calum Macarthur, Iain Macarthur, Emily Mackay, Iain Duncan Macleod, Graeme Miller, Christine Schofield, and Mairi Steele.
